Maybe I'll ask CSPC or John McInerney - he shares my passion for the Swans. Sport is a very legitimate issue for Councils and politicians. Community health and cohesion are positive impacts from successful sporting role models. Council last week resolved to support an anti-violence against women campaign in sporting codes. That of course will transcend the sporting field to the pubs, schools, workplaces and homes of our city.
